Build your first AI app

Follow this guide to build, style, and publish your first AI app—no coding required.

  1. Step 1

    Sign up

    Go to GetGPT and select "Sign in" in the top-right corner. Continue with Google or email to finish creating your account.

  2. Step 2

    Go to Studio

    Open Studio from the top navigation. Choose "Simple App", then start with the "Blank App" template.

  3. Step 3

    Build your app

    Use the editor on the right while checking the live preview on the left. For a recipe app, set up the essentials below.

    • Add a clear app title and description.
    • Name each input and choose its format: short answer, paragraph, single choice, multiple choice, or file.
    • Write a prompt that tells the AI how to use those inputs.
    • Run the preview with sample ingredients and confirm the result.

  4. Step 4

    Customize the design

    Give the app its own look. Add an emoji or image, choose a theme color, and write a clear action-button label.

  5. Step 5

    Add input examples

    Add realistic input examples so people can understand what to enter. They can open these from the Example button above the input.

  6. Step 6

    Publish

    Select Publish, then choose who can use the app: Public for the marketplace, Unlisted for link-only access, or Private for you alone.
