How to Create Apps on GetGPT

GetGPT is an AI tool designed to help you generate content and brainstorm ideas, much like ChatGPT. You can ask GetGPT to do tasks such as writing a formal email to your teacher or checking the grammar of your writing. Beyond these capabilities, GetGPT enables you to create customizable chat boxes tailored to your specific needs, which you can then publish for others to use. The platform is particularly focused on educational purposes, making it an excellent resource for students. Currently, GetGPT offers a variety of useful apps specifically designed to enhance student learning.

So, from this user-friendly website, how can you create apps that are both helpful for yourself and others? Follow these steps:

Login/Signup: A simple yet important task.
Click ‘Studio’: Located at the top left of the website.
Choose Your Starting Point: Either select ‘Featured Templates’ to get started quickly or create a new app for a fresh, original start. You can also watch a tutorial to learn how to navigate the website.

4. From step 4, the process will depend on the template you’re working with.

For example, I chose a Simple App to start. If you know what kind of app you want to create, start by writing an appropriate title and a brief description of what it will be like.
Next, make sure to write a prompt: How do you want it to generate content? What do you expect it to provide to users? Consider any limitations or specific details you want to include in the generated answers. Think about these questions and fill out the prompt accordingly.
To help users fully utilize your app, provide examples of what they might write. This guidance can help them understand how to make the most of the tools you’ve created.
As a final step, design the app with user attraction in mind. What colors, emojis, or images best match the theme of your app?

Experiment with different featured templates to explore the creative freedom you have in generating your unique AI tool.
